Sleeping on your back is also great at reducing wrinkles. The position of the body determines the direction to which the skin tends to sag. Sleeping on the back helps to pull the skin away from the face and reduce the chances of developing wrinkles.

No puffy eyes

“Puffy eyes are one of the first things we see when we don’t sleep,” says Doris Day, MD, a clinical associate professor of dermatology at New York University Langone Medical Center.

When sleeping completely flat on the mattress, fluids gather around the eyes area. Try adding few pillows under your head, to avoid puffy eyes the next morning.
